Peace talk should include the Oromo Liberation Army, ask OLF & OFC

The Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) and the Oromo Federalist Congress (OFC) have called on the Ethiopian government to hold reconciliation talks involving all parties to bring about lasting peace and stability in Ethiopia.

Responding to the comments of both parties, however, an Ethiopian government communication office official said, “the negotiation underway with the TPLF is enough.”

“The militants are agents of the TPLF,” he added.

The spokesperson of the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA), on his part, said  “the Oromo Liberation Army is an independent organization.” “If conditions are met, the door for peace talks is open,” he added.
